Hey there!  I'm Kelly O'Day.

I'm a firearms instructor in Humboldt County, CA and I provide practical defensive firearms training to my community. My classes are for the common person looking to be more self-reliant.

My favorite part about being an instructor is going out and getting the highest quality of tactical training from the best instructors in the world (ex CIA contractors, Green Berets, SWAT, and Martial Art gurus) and putting all of that training together in a well constructed class that I get to deliver to the people of my community. I think of myself as the liaison between the defensive firearms training world and everyday citizens like myself.

What sets me apart from other instructors is the fact that I am a professional educator. I am a credentialed high school educator and have received my Master's in education from Cal Poly State University: SLO. I have taken just as many classes on how to build and teach a class as I have taken classes on tactical training. My credentials and relevant training are below.
